Rahul Gandhi is no match for Narendra Modi - Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal

Sri Ganganagar ( Rajasthan )  27 November 2013
BJP Kisan Morcha's National Secretary and Himachal Pradesh Parbhari Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said that Congress has demanded for Narendra Modi resignation as the Gujarat Chief Minister over the alleged illegal surveillance of a woman by state agencies and sought a probe by a sitting Supreme Court judge into the issue. Addressing to a public meeting today here, Grewal said that Congress is on the back foot as far as the leadership battle is concerned as Rahul Gandhi is no match for Narendra Modi. Grewal said that only one family ruled the country for 40 years is a big crisis of leadership in Congress party. Grewal today alleged the Congress government in Rajasthan was misusing state coffers by announcing projects without considering their feasibility or practicability in a bid to woo voters ahead of December 1 of assembly elections. Grewal said that this District is called the Punjab of Rajasthan because of a significant Punjabi population. He today claimed there was a leadership crisis in the Congress party even as it attacked Prime Minister Manmohan Singh saying there was no point in how long somebody held a post as what mattered was the work done in that time. He in an apparent reference to Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Vice President Rahul Gandhi, BJP leader said that while senior Congress members stay in the back-ground, others from the party try to counter Narendra Modi through tweets and taunts. He said that Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh is known to post tweets critical of Modi our BJP prime ministerial candidate and the Gujarat Chief Minister. He said that Congress has a leadership crisis. They are keeping their leaders behind the scene. Grewal said that there is a leadership contest at the Centre and some people are tired with the leaderless ness. There is no point discussing how long one was Prime Minister. The point is what did you did while in power. Now years won't be counted but work will. He said Congress was in slumber for four years and has woken up ahead of elections announcing freebies. Grewal said that the Congress in the state made the best misuse of the state exchequer and went on a spree of foundation stone-laying ceremonies of a number of projects without considering their feasibility or practicability. Kisan Morcha's Leader called upon the people of Rajasthan not to get carried away by false projections and vote in favour of the BJP for development and growth of the state. He appealed to the people to vote the party to power not only in the state but also at the Centre. Grewal said that there was a crisis of credibility in Congress. He said that only one family ruled the country for 40 years and was still not able to sort out the problems.
